Tuesday marked the beginning of TradFest 2013. With this year’s theme of the festival being The Gathering, the festival opened with a very special music gathering concert, A Stór Mo Chroí.
Taking place in the majestic and magnificently acoustic setting of Christ Church Cathedral, the concert showcased a group of musicians who have performed all over the world and taken part in the award winning series ‘The Transatlantic Sessions’.
They came together on Tuesday to perform a shared repertoire that celebrates their love of storytelling. As well as A Stór Mo Chroí, live traditional music sessions of all kinds piped from the various pubs around Temple Bar.
