Roadbowling is a heritage sport,similar in a way to golf in that whatever player or team completes the course in the least amount of throws wins,once predominant all over Ireland, is now played in small pockets around the country namely Armagh,Cork,Waterford,Mayo and Wexford under the umbrella of the N.G.B, Bol chumann Na heireann. There are also clubs in London,Boston,West Virginia and New York.

We at the Fenor club here in Waterford extend the heartiest welcome to all novices and non graded players to compete in our charity event. Teams of 3 will compete for trophies and spot prizes. There is a ladies and mens event also we have our famous long throw to crown the winners, King  and Queen of the village,inspired by the larger events for senior players,we would like our event to provide all the amateurs and bowling enthusiasts a place to play.We are also pleased to announce,we will have the company of two senior  Roadbowling greats in Corks Martin Coppinger and Armaghs Thomas Mackle who will play an exhibition on the day,dont miss your chance to see these exceptional athletes for the first time in Waterford,Add to this the great scenery and amenities,traditional bands,BBQ,facepainters,bouncy castles, playpark,bustling pub and restaurant,we guarantee a great family day out with craic and banter
