For the weekend starting May 10th, over 50 Harley Davidsons from Scotland will descend on Ballina. They will be joined by a number of local and national clubs, creating a unique opportunity to hear the roar of such a large number of custom and classic Harleys as they tour Mayo.
On arrival on the friday evening, a recption at the Ballina Manor is an ideal kick off to a weekend of fun. After meeting up, kick back to the sounds of celtic rock music in the downstairs bar.
Saturday is the main event, with all Harley Davidsons welcome to meet up in Barrett st at 11:30 in preperation for a ride out throughout Mayo.
Drop down to view the bikes before departure, or use Pearse St as a vantage point to see the bikes parade through the streets of Ballina.
The Harleys, led by local club Old Heads, will then visit some of the best beauty spots in the Mayo area, stopping for lunch along the way.
On return later that evening, people will be able to discover the hospitality that Ballina has to offer. More details to follow.
There will be live music later in the evening to finish off the day.
While the majority of the overseas visitors are departing on the Sunday afternoon, feel free use the area maps supplied to tour the rest of Mayo.
Interest is very strong, with large numbers expected, so get planning now.
