PowerFest 2013 is an attempt on the Guinness Book of World Records to create the largest gathering of members from a single family name at a single event.

The event will be held in Waterford city, the spiritual home of the Power Clans from around the world.

The current world record holders are the Gallaghers of Donegal who broke the world record with 1488 participants in 2007.
